Privacy
Unlimited Shortcuts stores your shortcuts on your device. When you buy a license or recover a key, we process payment and email data as described below.
Data on your device
Shortcut names, URLs, and order are saved with chrome.storage.local. A
first-run flag is stored so most-visited seeding runs once. Nothing is synced to our
servers — we don’t run a shortcut database.
License & device binding
When you activate a license key, the extension sends a one-time request to our
server with your key and a locally generated deviceId (a random UUID
stored in chrome.storage.local). We store the key, purchase email,
activation timestamp, and bound deviceId so each lifetime license works
on one Chrome profile. After activation succeeds, the extension does not call our
servers again for licensing.
Clearing extension data creates a new deviceId. Re-activating the same
key on that profile may fail if the license is already bound elsewhere. Contact us if
you need help.
Payments (Stripe)
Lifetime licenses ($9.99) and key redelivery ($2.99) are processed by Stripe. We receive your email, payment status, and Stripe identifiers (such as checkout session and customer IDs). We do not store full card numbers — Stripe handles payment details under its own privacy policy.
Email (Resend)
Purchase and redelivery confirmations are sent through Resend. We send your license key and purchase-related messages to the email you provide at checkout. Resend processes delivery metadata as their processor.
What we don’t collect
